Tamper Proof Tracking Bracelet for Quarantine Solution during COVID-19 Epidemic

Non removable tracking bracelet safety and health monitoring

l  Case Background

With the global outbreak of COVID-19 in 2020, the Saudi Arabian government faced an urgent need to implement effective solutions to prevent the spread of the virus, particularly due to the high number of travelers entering the country.  As Saudi Arabia is home to two of Islam's holiest cities, Mecca and Medina, it typically receives millions of pilgrims and visitors each year, making the risk of transmission from international travelers a significant concern.  To address this challenge, the government swiftly enacted strict measures to control the influx of visitors, including suspending international flights, restricting entry for non-citizens and non-residents, and imposing quarantine protocols for those who were allowed to enter.  Additionally, during the peak pilgrimage seasons, such as Hajj and Umrah, attendance was severely limited, with stringent health screenings and social distancing rules in place.  The government also collaborated with health organizations and implemented digital GPS tracking systems to monitor and trace potential cases among travelers, ensuring that outbreaks could be quickly contained. These measures were vital in protecting public health while managing the complexities of international travel during the pandemic.

l  Customers need and requirement

IT Crown is a software company located in Saudi Arabia, rich experience on tracking business, provide personal and asset tracking solution since 2014.  They need a gps tracking device real-time tracking for every single person entering and leaving customs, but the most important is no removable strap only their customs immigration have right to put on or take off, other people could not open, otherwise the device will generate alert if open or cut off by forces, we do recommend them the C05 tamper proof watch, which is:

Ø  IP68 Waterproof: full waterproof even takes shower or daily splashing.

Ø  Accurate location: Outdoor with accurate GPS tracking and indoor with WiFi location.

Ø  Temperature monitor: Watch must support infrared temperature detection function.

Ø  Tamperproof design: Only immigration officers have right to open the strap

l  Our Proposal Solution

Base on Saudi Arabia requirement, we introduced the YX99Pro tamper-proof tracking bracelets as part of its strategy to control the spread of COVID-19, particularly from incoming travelers. These bracelets were equipped with GPS technology and were given to travelers upon arrival, particularly those required to undergo quarantine. Here's how they helped solve the issue:

Ensuring Quarantine Compliance: The bracelets allowed authorities to monitor whether individuals adhered to quarantine protocols. Any attempt to remove or tamper with the device would alert authorities, ensuring that travelers remained in designated quarantine locations for the required period.

Real-Time Tracking: The GPS capability enabled real-time tracking of travelers movements. If a person left the quarantine zone, health officials could quickly intervene to prevent potential spread of the virus.

Minimizing Human Contact: By using technology to track individuals remotely, authorities reduced the need for physical enforcement or frequent in-person checkups, which in turn limited the risk of infection for health workers and law enforcement.

Data Collection for Contact Tracing: The bracelets also facilitated contact tracing efforts, as they provided data on the wearers movements, helping authorities quickly identify and isolate anyone who may have come into contact with infected individuals.

l  Project Operation Return

The use of Non removable tracking bracelet for dementia patients in Saudi Arabia during the COVID-19 pandemic provided several key benefits:

Ø  Increased Public Health Safety: By ensuring that travelers adhered to quarantine requirements, the bracelets significantly reduced the risk of infected individuals spreading the virus to others, thus protecting public health.

Ø  Efficient Monitoring: The bracelets allowed authorities to monitor compliance with quarantine rules without requiring constant in-person supervision, freeing up resources and reducing the strain on health and law enforcement personnel.

Ø  Faster Response to Violations: Real-time tracking enabled quick identification and intervention if a person violated quarantine rules, preventing potential outbreaks from escalating.

Ø  Trust and Confidence: The system helped build public trust and confidence in the government's efforts to manage the pandemic, reassuring both citizens and international visitors that measures were in place to control the spread of the virus.

Ø  Sustained Economic Activity: By controlling the spread of the virus, particularly among travelers, Saudi Arabia could gradually reopen critical sectors like tourism and religious pilgrimages (such as Hajj and Umrah), contributing to economic stability without compromising public health.
